The history of painting and its impact on our lives
Since ancient times, people have been searching for ways to express themselves, what is going on inside them, their reality, their group, their livelihood, and their conditions. It was one of the most important and oldest means that were used to document civilizations, immortalize their leaders, or ridicule and mock reality.
But it is worth noting that no one knows until now when the drawing began with specification, and we do not know who was the first to draw, just as you do not know who started with the language exactly, but it is likely that it dates back to the oldest historical period, which is prehistoric times, to nearly 40,000 years.
Even though it was used for purposes such as presenting a limited idea, explaining what they wanted to say, or protecting them from evil spirits and magic, the benefit that belongs to us from these drawings is to know how the ancients thought and what their goals were in drawing.
Drawing can help you express your creativity, give you the feeling that you are doing something interesting with your hand and mind, and even help you with your memory and attention span. Drawing is a way to get out of your head and into the world around you.
Painting can help shape the way we see the world and bring us closer to nature. Painting can be seen in many different ways, such as helping us understand light and shadow and appreciate color and texture.
And about my experience with drawing, I can say that drawing was one of the factors that helped me solve my problems in a different way and improved my ability to learn different things, such as the art of decoupage and mosaics. It was also credited with strengthening visual memory, which helps a person remember what he sees and reads more easily than if he does not draw anything at all.
